Raw material
In Germany about 50% of used brake fluid are currently being recycled and returned to the product cycle. The Volkswagen AG in co-operation with NTL practices a pioneering nationwide recycling concept.
Recycling
The multi-stage NTL process enables the recovery of up to 95% of the fluid.
Product
The NTL product is a high-quality DOT4 brake fluid that complies with the specifications SAE J1704, FMVSS 116 and ISO 4925.
Treatment of residual / waste fluids containing glycol
Automotive anti-freeze
Distillation-based high purity recovery of the ethylene glycol contained in used fluid.
Distillation residual from industry
e.g. Ethanediol – Propanediol – Butanediol
The product quality is dictated by customer requirements.
